Opal Fire creations is a page dedicated to the mystical expression of self. Showcased here is the visual artwork of Cecilia Lee Greene. Cecilia is a self-taught artist that specializes in mixed media arts with enchanting motifs featuring nature, organics, esoterica, ancient-future sigilism, and sacred geometry.
Artist Statement: Growing up in the stunning Rogue Valley, Oregon, I have spent my life exploring the diverse landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, from majestic mountains to serene meadows and dense forests. My childhood was filled with adventures in tidal pools, capturing native butterflies amid vibrant wildflower meadows, and witnessing countless fiery orange and pink sunsets painting the sky. In 2024, I earned a degree in Environmental Science with a minor in Native American studies, which deepened my connection to the land and its diverse cultures. My experience includes working on ecological restoration projects, conducting field surveys, participating in research crews, and engaging in controlled burns. I have a keen interest in fire ecology, environmental sociology, indigenous traditional ecological knowledge (ITEK), native plants, butterflies, ecological restoration, forestry, anthropology, entheogenic plants, spirituality, and mythos. By blending my background in environmental science with my artistic vision, I strive to be a clear channel for spirit, bringing messages of peace and beauty to all who encounter my art.
